11/10 Little oze Animation Premiere

It was the coldest day of the season. Beautiful sunny day with the scent of early winter.

10th of November, saturday is finally here.
      
      Thank you everyone for coming to our historical premiere animation opening party.
It was such a wonderuful warm party because of you!!My movie "Kuromatsu miso"is about solitude. but that night Annie's art and frame was full of friends, family and everbody enjoying art walk. there were a full of lovely people, I felt some fortune to share this movie with everybody in this kind of way.


１１月１０日の朝はこの秋一番の冷え込みでした。雨の都市シアトルにしてはめずらしくよい日和に恵まれ、無事リトルオゼの「黒松味噌」プレミアの日を迎えました。この作品「黒松味噌」は焦燥感や孤独感からインスピレーションをもらったアニメーションでしたが、この夜の様子はどうでしょう。スカンジナビア半島の移民地区であった石畳広がるバラードアート歩き(art walk)の夜、私の展示が行われているAnnie's Art and Frameの店内はアートを楽しむ人たち、友達、昔の学友、家族でいっぱい。焦燥感どころか、真からハート温まるパーティーでした。この作品を、こうした形でみんなで共有できることができたのは、なぜか偶然とは思えない。この作品には必然的であったと思うのです。また日本から海を越えて遠いところのシアトルで。どんな人にでもやってくる孤独の”時”を、岸辺でみなと静かにただ見守る。そんな瞬間に、人の心の温かさや、つながっている心の底の世界のようなものをかんじることがあります。

I would like to thank Jose and Annie's for giving me this opportunity. Jose and I went to school together 5 years ago. Im so happy to be able to work with him on projects like this! I asked so much favor, though he was whole time trusting me and gave me go sign.

展示に至ってはキューレータのホゼに終始お世話になりっぱなしでした。ホゼはシアトルの学校で一緒にアニメーションを勉強した仲間です。自由に制限無くやらせていただき、感謝の気持ちで一杯です。ありがとう、友。後日ホゼバージョンとホゼの彼女バージョンの旅猫イラストの依頼をうけました。是非、はりきって描かせていただきます。

今夜ふたたびアニメーションに立ち向かう。

コマの一枚一枚に意識を集中させて

上にある星空、そして地球を感じて

今日はとってもいい気分だ。

ひさしぶりに音楽をI tuneで買った。

静かな湖畔で

流星のシャワー

真夏の満天の星空、

大好きな友達たちと過ごしたあの旅の夜を思い出させる。

星のまたたき、流星のような弦の音が私の気持ちをふたたび

クリアにしてくれた。ありがとう。

あの方みたいにフィドルを弾けるようになりたい。

      These days I have been struggling with Stop-motion animation's hardware technical issue. My computer have been very very slow and freeze a middle of shooting....!! I cried many times since last month because of it. I have not be able to wrap up this family eating break fast scene for a month. it is a slump, Im totally stuck in.

      My friends have been helping me out for this computer crush problem, but I believe it is time to stop using my power mac before anything really happens. One of my best friend gave me this laptop, Mac book pro! I just installed istpomotion (Im kinda sick of this program,too) into it and got a new battery for it. It is way compact that my desktop, faster, and reliable that is for sure. Only problem I am facing to now is LIGHTING. It was never really trouble till today. a new frame I take with this laptop comes out way darker. I have no idea why. We even tried to use the monitor I was using before for my desktop, but no dice. I ended up fixing camera mode but I should not have to. A little mysterious things like this make me crazy. I suffer too much for this little miso paste commercial.

      I must go on.

４月に入ってからこのミソコマーシャル制作において、テクニカルな問題が多々生じている。コンピューターがバグるのだ。一定の時間使用していると画面がフリーズして、それ以降は撮影をやめるほかない。どんなに旨くいっていても、撮り直し。また、保存をしていなくて消失したコマが何枚あるか。春になってから悲鳴や泣き声を幾度もこのアパートの住人は聴いただろう。私はこのアニメーション制作において、確実にスランプにはいってしまった。くやしい。

友達にはなにかとお世話になっている。すべてを無くしかけた時も戻してくれて命拾いしたのは先週のことだ。しかしこのデスクトップはもう使えない。リスクが大きすぎる。幸せなことに、数ヶ月前に親友からMac pro bookのノートパソコンを譲ってもらった。このマックブックに希望を託すことを決意。ちゃんとアップデートもしたし、速いし、コンパクトだし、さっそくistopmotionというおんぼろコマ撮りソフトをインストール。バッテリーも新しく新調し、さっそくはじめよう！というところで今度は照明部隊の調子が悪くて拍子抜けだ。不思議なことになにもいじっていないので、照明だけは以前とおなじ明るさのはずなのだが、撮ると暗い。MacBookの液晶の明るさのせいかと想って以前つかっていたモニターをつないでみてもやはり暗い。これには相当萎える。それは今日のこと。結局カメラ自体の設定の調節をしてすこし明るめにはなったけれど以前と同じ色にはならない。編集でなおすしかないのだけれど、編集に頼るというの、なんだか気持ちがよくない。仕舞いには、なんでこんなに自分のやりたくて始めたことでくるしんでいるんだと自問自答。アニメーションは孤独で、我慢との戦い。くるしい。

終わらせないといけない。そうでないとこの６ヶ月、生きていた意味がない気がする。人形たちも撮り直しの連続に壊れず耐えてくれています。いっしょにがんばろ〜。

いつもブログにきてアップデートをチェックしてくれてありがとうございます。本当に感謝しています。どんな荒波がこようとも確実にフィニッシュさせます。日々、一歩一歩すすめていきますので、どうぞこれからもよろしくおねがいします。
